Today, Louisiana State Troopers have teamed up with other law enforcement agencies to bring Lt. Bring Michael Boutte back to Mississippi with the Hancock County Sheriff.
Boutte was shot on duty Monday and taken to a New Orleans hospital, where he died.
Soldiers, New Orleans Police, Slidell Police, Deputies to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff and Deputies from St. Tammany Parish joined other officials to get to the Mississippi state line to see Boutte’s body of his brothers and sisters from Hancock County, the Mississippi State Police, and officers and MPs from his home state.
