On the previous Monday in the metropolis of Ilorin in the state of Kwara, one of the escort vehicles belonging to a company owned by Sarah Alade, special advisor to the President for finance and economics, had rammed into three tricycles.
According to the state police, the escort vehicle belongs to Kwara Hillcrest, an agro-allied company along the Ajase-Ipo – Offa road, owned by Ms. Alade.
This newspaper learned that the van was in the convoy of Ms. Alade’s son, Ayodele Alade, the CEO of the Ilorin-based company, at the time of the accident.
Several witnesses told this newspaper that the vehicle crashed into the three tricycles at top speed near the State Department of Agriculture.
