Tennessee Freeway Patrol to escort 2021 Huge G Motorbike Experience benefiting St. Jude

SHELBYVILLE, Tennessee – Big G Express is planning its sixth annual Big G motorcycle tour on June 5th in aid of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Working with the Tennessee Trucking Foundation, the Big G St. Jude fundraiser will help continue to lead the way the world treats and destroys child cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

“I’m so excited about the ride,” said Tim Chelette, driver and fundraiser organizer for Big G Express. “This year, the Tennessee Highway Patrol will escort us as soon as we leave the Big G yard and get to Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse.”

The drive, which is approximately 75 miles, begins at Big G Yard at 193 Aldi Blvd. in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and ends at 850 W. Main St. in Monteagle, Tennessee. In the restaurant, all drivers can hold door raffles and there is a donation auction.

In a video address promoting the annual ride, Chelette said Big G drivers and supporters raised $ 25,000 during the ride last year. In five years the fundraiser raised $ 56,000 for St. Jude.

Registration for the ride begins on June 5th at 7:30 a.m. (fee is $ 20 per motorcycle), then a kickstand starts at 9:00 a.m. Coffee and donuts are provided.

“Imagine the tremendous good that could be done for the children of St. Jude with donations of as little as $ 1 or $ 5,” Chelette said. “It’s people like you who show up, show up and support St. Jude – and it’s the children who are treated there and their families who benefit from it. Because at the end of the day they pay zero dollars. “
