Suffolk police escorting irregular load from Peterborough

Motorists in Suffolk will be warned of possible delays Wednesday as police escort an abnormal cargo across the county.

Four vehicles with a width of 4.94 m, a length of 15 m and a height of 4.95 m and a weight of 44 tons each will be transported from Peterborough in Cambridgeshire to Church Field, Monks Eleigh.

Motorists are advised to be late on Wednesday April 7th as the police escort an abnormal cargo through the county.

Loads travel to Suffolk on the A14 on the Cambridgeshire border before turning onto the A1214, then the A1071 and A1141.

Suffolk Police will take the vehicles from junction 50 of the A14 to their destination in Monks Eleigh.
