The Palm Beach County School District issued a statement saying it was “shocked and appalled” by the allegations and is cooperating with law enforcement. The district said Alexander had been suspended pending the investigation and none of Alexander’s alleged crimes had occurred in the school. It was reported that support services were being offered to parents and families.
If Alexander is convicted on both charges, he could be jailed for 20 years.
