Slain Delmar Police Cpl. Keith Heacook Will Be Honored Sunday With Escort From Baltimore’s Shock Trauma – CBS Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Delmar Police Corporal Keith Heacook, who died on duty last weekend, will be honored with a police escort to the Shorts Funeral Home on Sunday.
Ivan Barkley, Delmar Police Chief, announced that the murdered sergeant would get a worthy police escort home from Baltimore’s shock trauma on Sunday.

“Cpl. Keith Heacook made the ultimate sacrifice for his community on Sunday April 25th and will never be forgotten. Said Barkley. “Delaware and Maryland law enforcement officials will be bringing him back to Delmar on Sunday afternoon, where he will be honored on the streets and in the neighborhoods he patrols. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support as Keith’s family, ward, and police navigate through these troubled times. “
The police escort departs from Baltimore Shock Trauma at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The escort, made up of officers from Delaware and Maryland, will take Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to I-395, then to I-95, I-695, I-97, Route 50, Route 404 to Bridgeville, DE route 13, Route 54, S. Bi State Boulevard, E. Elizabeth Street, Pennsylvania Avenue to E Grove Street.
Expect delays on these routes on Sunday. People can also line up to show their respect on the track.
