Sachin Vaze used similar Scorpio to escort Alibaug Police in Arnab case which was discovered exterior Antilia: Stories

A report in the Times of India states that the explosives-laden car found outside Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia residence was the same one used by top Mumbai police officer Sachin Vaze to escort Alibagh police on the Arnab case. Citing news channels, the TOI report reports that the scorpion car found outside Antilia was used by Sachin Vaze to escort Alibagh police when they arrested Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami in the death of Anvay Naik. According to reports, the ATS found CCTV footage and the car’s registration number is also fake.

Late on Saturday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested “encounter specialist” Sachin Vaze in the death of Mansukh Hiren. The explosively laden car found outside Antilia in February belonged to Hiren. He was found dead under mysterious circumstances just days after the car was discovered. According to reports, Vaze has confessed to being part of the group that planted the explosives-laden car on Carmichael Road (near Antilia) on Feb.25.

The police had traced the car back to Mansukh Hiren, an auto parts dealer in Thane. A few days later, his body was found in a stream. While it was originally alleged to be suicide, further investigation revealed that it was possibly murder. After Mansukh Hiren’s death, his wife Vimla Hiren claimed the vehicle had been loaned to Sachin Vaze for four months until February 5. It was then reported as stolen. She had accused Vaze of killing her husband.

Vaze is produced later today in court.

Arrest of Arnab Goswami in the death of Anvay Naik

In November 2020, Republican television chief Arnab Goswami was arrested by Alibaug police, where he alleged that the police attacked him. The police team was led by Sachin Vaze. Shortly after his arrest, Arnab Goswami spoke to the media about the Mumbai police attacking his wife, his underage son, at his home. Arnab Goswami’s elderly father-in-law and mother-in-law were also reportedly attacked by police in Mumbai. Republic TV had also reported that the cops were carrying AK 47 assault rifles in order to arrest Arnab.

The Times of India report states that for this arrest, the scorpion car that the Alibaug police escorted was the same one that was placed outside Antilia.
