A man by the river was charged with sex crimes against numerous children following an investigation that began with a single report of harassment, the Riverside Police Department said.
Eliezer Job Mendoza, 45, was charged on Wednesday, April 21, with 15 charges of indecent behavior among minors under the age of 14, five charges of oral copulation among minors under 10, and one charge of sexual assault against children, as recorded by the Supreme Court evidence.
Mendoza pleaded not guilty of all charges on April 22nd. He will appear for a court hearing on June 17th.
Police began their investigation when a girl reported being sexually assaulted by Mendoza from 2010, according to a press release. Police said they then learned of four other female victims. Mendoza was arrested on April 16.
The crimes are believed to have been committed between 2004 and 2016.
