Regulation Enforcement Companies Collect to Escort Washington Co. Deputy Killed Whereas On Responsibility
Law enforcement agencies across Green County gathered Sunday to bring the body of Washington County’s Assistant Kyle Davis from Tulsa to Bartlesville.
Herb Cline worked with Davis in the Washington County Sheriff’s office for four years. Davis was known for his humor and could light up any room.
“Super good kid. Funny, oh my god, he’d make everyone laugh in no time,” said Cline.
Cline said the sheriff’s office was devastated by what happened.
“Just his luck,” said Cline. “He could make everyone feel better. I wish I had known him longer.”
Cline said the support has been incredible. Overall, he’s grateful for knowing Davis.
“For the family, thank you for allowing him to be in our lives,” said Cline.
Davis’s funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday at Copan High School.
