Odisha Police Escorts three Tankers Of Medical Oxygen For Deficit States

Bhubaneswar: Odisha police escorted three medical oxygen tankers from the Jajpur district of Odisha on Friday to ensure uninterrupted and rapid transport of medical oxygen from Odisha to deficit states.

Two tankers were sent to Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and one to Pune in Maharashtra through a special green corridor with police escort for interstate coordination and smooth movement.

According to reports, a special cell was formed on Thursday under ADG Law & Order YK Jethwa as a node officer for coordinated operations to load and transport medical oxygen through Odisha to needy states.
