Ocean Metropolis Faculty Board responds to allegations of intercourse abuse, bullying

OCEAN CITY, New Jersey (WPVI) – The Ocean City Education Authority looked into allegations of sexual abuse and bullying on Wednesday night.

Over 3,000 people signed a petition calling for a faculty and administration investigation.

“We hear you and encourage you to exercise your right to freedom of expression and have the courage to petition to investigate the allegations further,” said CEO Joseph Clark.

Clark says the Ocean City Police Department and Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office will be investigating the allegations and the board will work together fully.

“While we cannot change the past, our district is determined to take additional steps to build on the programs, training, support and intervention services and provide the necessary resources that we have provided over the past decade to ensure lasting change “said Clark.
