A youth football coach and mentor in Calvert County, Maryland, was charged after two victims reported sexually abused as minors.
Moshe Michael Imel, 50, of Owings, was arrested Friday for sexually abusing a minor four times, according to the Calvert County Sheriff’s office.
Two victims reported “historical crimes” between 2009 and today, the authorities said.
After receiving a search warrant, the authorities arrested Imel. An attorney for Imel could not be reached immediately for comment.
Imel coached the Patuxent Rhinos youth football program in Upper Marlboro, the sheriff’s office confirmed to News4.
Authorities believe there could be more victims.
“As a precautionary measure, parents are asked to speak to their children about Imel and report any activity that may be considered inappropriate,” the sheriff’s office said.
