Man accused of raping undergrad social escort, Newest Singapore Information

A delivery person using the sexual services of a part-time social escort was accused of raping the then 22-year-old woman on knife date after posing as a police officer but refusing to show her ID.

After the alleged sexual assault, 32-year-old Ng Yi Yao watched the woman shower, admitted that he was not a police officer, and suggested moving in with her, the high court heard yesterday.

Then they exchanged phone numbers, and Ng took the woman home in a taxi, showed her to her unit, and kissed her outside.

Ng, a Singaporean, denies two cases of aggravated rape and two cases of aggravated sexual assault through penetration.

A fifth charge of copying a police officer has been dismissed.

The court heard that on February 21, 2019, the woman was ordered by her agent to check into a room at the Harbor Ville Hotel at 8:15 p.m. and that her client would pay her $ 450. She was also told that she could have another client at 9 p.m.

The Singaporean, a part-time student who had a full-time job in addition to her social support work, cannot be named due to a gag order.

The prosecutor said when she asked Ng for payment upon his arrival, he identified himself as a police officer and briefly flashed a cardholder on her. He also asked for her phone and ID, and she followed.

At some point, Ng took out his cell phone and started a voice recording, in which he informed the woman that there was a police operation. He also called her agent to cancel her later job.

Ng then asked for a room change. In the new room, Ng passed on his pretense of being a police officer and repeatedly asked her to engage in sexual acts with him, but she refused, prosecutors said.

At around 10pm she sent a text message to a friend – “Bro, I can’t do anything tonight” – to code that she was in trouble.

She suspected Ng was not a police officer and asked for ID, but he refused to show it to her.

Prosecutors said he then told the victim to turn off the lights or he would hurt her. The woman saw him with a Swiss Army knife in hand and followed him.

Ng then allegedly raped her and had her have oral sex with him.

The woman wanted to leave after showering, but Ng started a conversation with her.

After she told him she had to come home by 11:59 p.m. to submit assignments, they exchanged numbers and he took photos of her ID.

Ng also insisted on taking her home and giving her $ 40 even though she refused to accept the money.

She called a friend and the police shortly after she returned.
