JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) – A Junction City High School sports coach was arrested Friday.
Junction City Police Department arrested Brandon Martino, 29, at around 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Martino faces two charges, including sexual exploitation of a child, promoting the achievement of a child under the age of 18, and promoting profanity among minors.
Posted on their Facebook page on Sunday afternoon, USD 475 said: The Geary County Schools USD 475 mission is to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s world. The school district is working with local authorities to investigate allegations against Brandon Martino. “
The district continues, “Any behavior that threatens the safety and integrity of our students and staff is unacceptable. Mr. Martino is suspended from all duties and responsibilities until the investigation is complete. We will continue to strive to provide a safe and caring environment for all USD 475 students and staff. In addition, we will respect the integrity of the investigation and everyone involved. “
