Israeli jets escort US B-52 bombers amid Iran tensions, World Information

The Israeli military posted a video on Sunday showing its fighter planes escorting the United States B-52 bombers over the Israeli sky.

The military said it was escorting two US bombers. The flight of the two B-52 bombers is the latest warning mission in the region Iran amid tensions between Washington and Tehran.

The flight of the two heavy bombers took place as a pro-Iranian satellite channel based in Beirut, which was broadcast in Iran Military drone Footage of an Israeli ship that was hit by a mysterious explosion in the Middle East just a few days earlier.

While the station wanted to say that Iran was not involved, Israel has blamed Tehran for an attack on the ship.

The US military’s central command said the two B-52s flew over the region in military planes from countries such as Israel. Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

It was the fourth bomber mission of its kind in the Middle East this year and the second under President Joe Biden.

The military made no direct reference to Iran in its statement, saying the escape should “deter aggression and reassure partners and allies of the US military’s commitment to security in the region.” The bomber flights had become common in the past few months of the former president Donald Trumps Administration.

Trump’s 2018 decision to unilaterally withdraw Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers sparked a number of escalating incidents in the Middle East.
