Former Papillion coach going through felony intercourse abuse cost seems in courtroom

PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) – A former Papillion South High School coach charged with sexually abusing a student was booked and made his first appearance on Thursday morning in court.

Stephen A. Gentry, 29, appeared before Judge Robert Wester, who issued a $ 10,000, or 10%, bond on the condition that he had no contact with minors outside his household. He was then sent to Sarpy County Jail.

A Sarpy District Court judge on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against Gentry charged with third-degree sexual abuse by a school worker, a grade 4 crime.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 13 at 1:30 p.m.
