Escorts reimburses all sales representatives of its dealers for the vaccination costs.
In a program titled “COVID-Shield,” India’s engineering conglomerate, Escorts announced several COVID relief efforts for its dealerships, including an unsolicited grant of Rs.20,000 to its select dealership employees after testing positive for COVID-19.
The entire sales and service staff of escorts dealers will be covered by this program from April 24, 2021. In order to receive this immediate financial assistance of Rs 20,000, the trader only needs to submit an authenticated COVID-19 positive report from their employees to Escorts and the aid will be transferred directly to the account of the employee concerned
Escorts also reimburses all sales representatives of its dealers for the vaccination costs. Escorts has also announced a grant of Rs 1 lakh to the family of the deceased dealer employee as additional financial support for its dealer employees. The above programs are carried out with the support of the Escorts Dealers Development Association (EDDAL), a cooperation between escorts and their dealers.
Regarding the measures, Shenu Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Escorts Agri Machinery said: “Our main goal is to serve agriculture. Our dealer employees play an outstanding role in this. With the COVID relief measures of our dealers, we want to ensure their well-being so that they in turn can continue to serve the farmers of our country. “
