Escambia Man Had Over 100 Photographs Displaying Little one Intercourse Abuse, ECSO Says : NorthEscambia.com
A man from Escambia County was charged after investigators found over 100 images of child sexual abuse in his possession, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was carried out on the Alvarado Calzada block of 8500 on Gulf Beach Highway by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations. The search warrant revealed that the subject of the investigation, Andrew Alexander Thompson, was in possession of image files on his electronic devices depicting over 100 children being sexually assaulted, the ECSO said in a statement.
According to an arrest report, the victims were between 2 and 12 years old.
ECSO’s lead investigator Jeremy Horn arrested Thompson on 20 cases of possession of child sexual abuse material.
He was sent to Escambia County Jail on $ 300,000 bail.
