Elkton man sentenced after pleading responsible to 15 counts of intercourse abuse

ROSEBURG, Ore.- An Elkton man was sentenced to six months in prison and five years of unsupervised probation on Monday after pleading guilty to 15 cases of sexual abuse in October 2020.

James Bryce Carnes, 51, is also required to register as a mid-level sex offender and pay $ 21,000 to victims. According to court records, four victims were named, with some of the abuse already taking place in 2012.

Carnes is currently in Douglas County Jail.
