City of Maine man pleads responsible to felony intercourse crime

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – Broome County prosecutors said a Maine city man pleaded guilty to a sex crime in Broome County Court on June 9.

Prosecutors said Justin D. Miller was guilty of sexual conduct against a first degree child, a crime.

According to prosecutors, Miller admitted to having committed “numerous acts” of sexual behavior in 2020 with a 12-year-old.

Miller is sentenced to 15 years in prison with 20 years of surveillance after release and registration of sex offenders.

Broome County District Attorney Michael A. Korchak said of the case, “Sex offenders who harm children deserve nothing less than long prison terms in New York State Prison.

The investigation was conducted by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
