BSE Auto pares early features however holds regular; Bosch prime gainer; Escorts, Tata Motors in a selloff
The auto stock index remained stable on Wednesday with positive benchmarks. At around 11:58 p.m., BSE Auto was trading at 23,435.39 by 21.20 points or 0.09%. However, the index lagged behind Sensex, which was trading at 50,034.74 while gaining 283.33 points or 0.57%.
In early deals, the BSE Auto gained nearly 297 points after an intraday high of 23,710.78.
In BSE Auto, Bosch was the front runner with 3.3%, followed by Exide with 1.75%. Stocks like MRF, M&M, and TVS Motor each zoomed nearly 1%.
Other stocks like Ashok Leyland, Amara Raja Batteries, Maruti Suzuki and Cummins India gained marginally.

While Hero MotoCorp and Eicher Motors trade slightly lower.
