‘Bachelor’ Contestant Brittany Galvin Responds to Escort Allegations

ABC / Craig Sjodin

Brittany Galvin is a late addition to season 25 of ‘The Bachelor’.

Brittany Galvin speaks her truth after facing escort allegations on the episode of The Bachelor last week.

It was one of five late additions to the House that aroused resentment among the original candidates. Anna Redman, who arrived on the first night, recognized the model and the DJ. She shared rumors that Galvin “entertains men for money”.

“It’s 2021, do you know how prominent sex workers are in this world? Or how many people do OnlyFans have? Why are we still judging others? “She wrote in a statement on her Instagram story based on screenshots from Cosmopolitan.

“Again, to make it clear I am NOT an escort,” repeated the model and DJ who denied the allegations when they were first confronted on the show. “And for the people who are, don’t let others tear you down. Keep sharing your stories with me because they are so powerful. “

Apparently, a video on YouTube challenged her need for rejection when supporting sex workers. Quoting how public the allegations aired on television are, Galvin asked, “How would you react if someone tried to take advantage of you for the world with an allegation that could harm your career, reputation and future relationships?” ? “

Redman hasn’t addressed her allegations against Galvin since the episode aired.

The full explanation is:

“Another thing I want to address. It’s 2021, do you know how prominent sex workers are in this world? Or how many people do OnlyFans have? Why are we still judging others? Jealousy and hate really show up when others are getting better in life, but why? Do you focus on yourself, and if you are not satisfied with where you are, are you working on yourself? To be clear, I am NOT an escort. And for the people who are, don’t let others tear you down. Keep sharing your stories with me because they are so powerful. I am here to support you as you do with me!

Side note: I saw a YouTube video of women asking why I care when it’s not true. If this happened to me in the real world, I’d wipe it off because I know my truth. But how would you react if someone tried to take advantage of you for the world with an allegation that could harm your career, reputation, and future relationships? “

Redman shared a rumor that Galvin “entertains men for money”

During the cocktail portion of the first group date with the new women, Redman said to Queen Victoria Larson, “People went out of their way to find me and tell me, ‘Oh my god, take care of this girl. “

Galvin was on the first cast list of the season and both women live in Chicago and appear to have similar social backgrounds.

In a confessional interview, Redman stated, “There is a rumor, knowing all the rich men in Chicago, that Brittany might be an escort. She may have a transactional relationship with wealthy men. “

While Bachelor Matt James was hanging out one-on-one with another candidate, Redman briefed Galvin on the escort allegations to make sure their “intentions get in here”.

When Galvin asked, “Wait, did you tell the people in the house that?” Redman replied, “I think this is a terrible thing to say about someone and I apologize.”

Galvin was quick to deny the rumors, adding it was a heavy feeling “like everyone is against me now”.

While most of the contestants who saw the confrontation looked uncomfortable and serious, Larson laughed at it and said, “Okay, get out of the house then.”

Larson recently addressed the bullying allegations she’s been exposed to on Good Morning America.

Galvin doesn’t want Redman to be molested

Ana is the type a girl will never let a good rumor stand in the way. Especially not the truth. I don’t like people like Anna. #The bachelor

Since the episode aired, some of Larson’s villain status has passed to Redman.

One Twitter user wrote: “If the rumor is not true, Anna started a stigmatizing lie about Brittany that could ruin her life. If it’s true, Anna outed a sex worker on national television and possibly put her life at risk of being petty. That’s not funny, cute, or ‘tea’. “

Among those who called Redman online were Bachelor Nation alum. Nick Viall tweeted: “[Anna] is the type a girl will never let a good rumor stand in the way. Especially not the truth. I don’t like people like Anna. “

Nevertheless, Galvin seems to have indirectly called for an end to the backlash. On a second slide of her Instagram story, she wrote: “After all, it was a bloody thing, but let’s not destroy someone’s life over it. Trying to bring down others is exactly what I don’t want. We’re bigger and better than that. Love you all. “
